Sun Burgers

Makes 8 Burgers

 

Ingredients:

200g ground or finely chopped sunflower seeds

1 medium carrot, grated

1 large celery stick, chopped finely

1 small onion, chopped finely

Large handful of Parsley, chopped finely

1 large potato boiled and mashed

1 egg

1 clove garlic

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Pinch chilli powder

Half flat teaspoon of garam masala, tumeric & wholegrain mustard

Salt & Pepper to taste

 

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. It is important that the mixture is moist but soild, rahter than having excess liquid. Form burger patties andn place on a well oiled tray. Bake at 180degrees in a pre heated over for half an hour. The cooked patties should be golden brown.

Serve with your favourite burger toppings and enjoy!!!! xxx

    I’m soooo looking forward to these sun burgers … nummy! I can taste them from here… glad to see your recipes being shared to a wider audience. if ever there is anything you think I could do to help you in any way… just let me know… I am good at editing (I think) and presentation of documents … so I’d do it for nothing for you as I really believe in your philosophy and in what you and Michael are trying to achieve in your business. I just think you are brilliant!!!

    Hope you are all well there and business is good. Just back from Sicily and I would so love to be going back to Cliffs for a week in August😢😢😢
