This is not a fundamentals workshop. This is a full immersion.

Join one of the world’s most experienced Wim Hof Method instructors for a rare and intimate weekend retreat on the wild west coast of Ireland. Michelle Riordan is a Level 3 certified Wim Hof Method instructor – one of only a handful globally. She teaches at the Wim Hof Method Academy, supervises Wim Hof’s international expeditions, and sits on the European panel for instructor development.

This is her solo retreat offering – a powerful, personally-held space designed to challenge, expand, and deepen your experience of the method. You will train directly with Michelle for the full weekend, in a small group of just 10–12 people.

This is the only Wim Hof Method retreat Michelle is teaching this season.

This weekend is a full-spectrum Wim Hof Method immersion. You’ll experience:

  • Daily cold exposure training, including extended ice baths up to 5 minutes and progressive multi-round immersion sessions
  • Breathwork journeys woven throughout, beginning on the first evening and deepening across the weekend – opening the body, sharpening the mind, and connecting to your emotional core
  • Cutting-edge insights, including the latest scientific research and personal guidance from one of the method’s senior global teachers

Relax, take a walk and partake in a welcome drink and sweet treat with your fellow retreat participants

18:00 – Our first Wim Hof method session

20:00 – Dinner, delicious, healthy fare! Followed by arrival introduction chat to the weekend, the schedule and the area

07:30 – Wim Hof Method session

09:00 – Delicious healthy breakfast buffet

10:00 – Morning walk

11:30 – Wim Hof Method session

12:30 – Lunch,  lots of yummy healthy food!

Free time – Options to take a trip to Lahinch to the beach, take a tour of the area including the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren or stay and relax and in the wellness area

17:30 – Wim Hof method session

19:00 – Dinner, more lovely homemade healthy food followed by a delicious healthy dessert

Our beautiful glass fronted sauna and Canadian cedar hot tub will be available at all times during your stay

Who is leading the retreat?

Michelle Riordan – Wim Hof Method Level 3 Instructor

Michelle Riordan is a Level 3 Wim Hof Method Instructor with years of experience guiding people through breathwork, cold exposure, and mindset training. As one of the Academy Lead Instructors worldwide, she not only teaches the method but also trains and mentors new instructors at the Wim Hof Academy. She serves as a panel member for Wim Hof instructors in Europe and is a supervisor on Wim Hof’s winter expeditions. 

But beyond titles and roles, Michelle is deeply passionate about the practice itself – living it, sharing it, and witnessing its profound impact on others. She believes in making the method accessible to everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, helping them discover their inner strength and resilience. Whether leading a large retreat, supporting fellow instructors, or taking the plunge into icy waters herself, Michelle brings warmth, experience, and a genuine love for the work she does.
