The shift of season – one of adventure and exuberance to one of routine and introversion – can be a challenge to navigate gracefully. This weekend retreat has been designed specifically to help you find your centre and open your heart to the beauty that exists within this changing season and within you. Like a tree that sheds its leaves when summer ends you will practice letting go of past experiences and beliefs that no longer serve you and gift yourself the chance to bare a freer heart.

Aisling and Caseys root-to-rise workshop-based yoga classes are intended to teach you how to go deeper into your practice through acceptance and create space to listen to your inner teacher. Learn how to use your breath to guide you through both grounding and uplifting apex yoga poses from splits to variations of wheel. Throughout the weekend, these sunny and playful yang practices are balanced by quiet and moonlight-still yin classes to leave you feeling nurtured, soul-fed and prepared to harvest autumns energy. 

 

While off the yoga mat, take time to bring joy to your heart: put your bare feet in the soil, feel them tickled by grass or dig your toes into the sand to experience healing, nourishment and a sense of grounding. Morning walks – with the option of silence – and afternoon free time will reconnect you with the wisdom and teachings of nature and ignite a compassionate and loving relationship with human spirit.

Relax, take a walk and partake in a welcome drink and sweet treat with your fellow retreat participants

18:00   Candlelit Yin (90 minutes)

20:00    Dinner – delicious, healthy fare! Followed by arrival introduction chat to the weekend, the schedule and the area

 

Saturday

08:00   Delicious healthy breakfast buffet

08:30   Early morning walk/journalling

10:00   2 Hour Hip Opening Yoga Workshop

12:30    Lunch – lots of yummy healthy food!

Free time – Options to take a trip to Lahinch to the beach, go surfing, take a tour of the area including the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren or stay and relax and enjoy a treatment

17:30   2 Hour Backbend Yoga Workshop

19:30    Dinner – more lovely homemade healthy food followed by a delicious healthy dessert

Our beautiful glass fronted sauna will be available at all times during your stay and we will fire up our wood burning hot tub on Saturday, weather permitting

Shannon is our closest airport. You can catch a taxi from the airport directly to the Retreat for approximately €90.

By Car, From Lahinch:

We are 7kms from Lahinch driving straight out on the road to the Cliffs of Moher. As you enter Lahinch follow the signs for the Cliffs of Moher and Liscannor (it’s a right turn before you come into the main street of the village).

Drive along that road, with the golf course on your left. After 4 kms you will reach Liscannor Village. Continue driving through Liscannor Village. After another 3kms turn left, just before The Rock Shop (which is on the right side of the road). After 200 metres you will reach a crossroads, turn right. Continue up the road for approximately 750metres, we are the third property on the left, you will drive up a long driveway and we will be waiting for you there!
