Aoife’s flow classes weave grounding, stabilizing and strengthening postures with lightness, buoyancy and ease, focusing on soft subtle awareness and connecting the body to breath. She invites each practice as a moment to drop deeply into the body with deliciously slow, playful sequences. Aoife’s Yin practices are steeped in stillness, silence and potency. She aims to carve a space where each student can explore themselves fully, curiously and tangibly experience their inner magic.
Aoife discovered yoga while undertaking her doctorate studies, initially to manage stress levels and anxiety, but found herself using the practice to heal and manage pain from a spinal injury sustained from Olympic Weightlifting. After finishing her doctorate, she completed a 200 RYS Yoga teacher training, focused on Hatha yoga, Pranayama, Yoga
Nidra and meditation practices, with the intention to learn how to share the magic she has found through yoga with as many people as possible. She has since continued her studies, travelling to India to complete 100HRS in Yin Yoga at Kranti Yoga School, 30HRS Menstrual Cycle Awareness with Kitty Maquire, 40HRS Yoga for Stages of Menopause with Niamh Daly , 10HRS Pranayama Intensive with Abbie Galvin, and currently undertaking her 500HRS YTT with Authentic Movements.
