During this retreat the world famous Cliffs of Moher walk from Doolin to Liscannor will be covered, as well as the stunning Lough Avalla loop on the Burren (weather permitting). With a refreshing local seaside walk on our doorstep, we will avail of this too!


BurrenYou’ll also have plenty of time to relax and reward yourself. The morning practices are warming and invigorating focusing on opening up our joints. We will stretch and lengthen our muscles whilst working through sun salutations and a variation of standing sequences, followed by some gentle back bends and winding down forward bends and hip openers. There will be a strong emphasis on warming up our legs before our glorious hikes. Which will help you enjoy the walk even more!


The evening yoga is a gentle but deep restorative practice where we open up the joints and stretch the legs in a lovely calming gentle way. You should expect to float out of this practice!

We run this retreat with a simple aim – to awaken your senses out in nature and soothing your body, mind and soul through yoga and meditation. Everything that’s included, from our beautiful studio with stunning views across Clare’s rolling hills, to our restored farmhouse accommodation that oozes comfort and a feeling of sanctuary, to our cliff-top & Burren walks and those exploring the delights of the local area, have been chosen by us with this aim in mind.

Yoga and Hiking The result? Daily yoga and meditation classes that will help you explore and deepen your own practice under the expertise of our residential teachers. Glorious & invigorating hikes out in nature, awaking your senses and distilling an inner calm. Nutritious (and frankly, delicious) food to recharge your body and leave you feeling like your best self. Every day you can start off with a refreshing dip in the sea and end by curling up with a book. The only downside of this escape is that it’s pretty hard to come back from.

13:30     Lunch – lots of yummy, healthy food!

Free Time – Spend your time taking a walk, swimming in the sea, reading a book or enjoy some of the amazing tourism the area has to offer.

18:00     Yoga and meditation (90 minutes)

19:30    Dinner – more lovely homemade healthy food followed by a delicious healthy dessert

Shannon Airport:

Shannon is our closest airport. You can catch a taxi from the airport directly to the Retreat.  To ensure your transfer will be there to meet you, instead of waiting for a taxi at the airport, we recommend contacting Philip O’Dwyer and Tom Dowling who offers competitive rates from Shannon to the Retreat compared to picking up a taxi at the airport. Depending on the time of day and number of passengers, a taxi from Shannon costs €80 to €120 each way.

Dublin Coach arrives into the Friars Walk bus park in Ennis. If you’re connecting to the Bus Eireann service it is about a 10 minute walk to the bus depot located at Ennis Train Station.

Car Rental:

Renting a car is the easiest way to get around Ireland – we are a small island! It will mean you can make the most of this amazing area and take in all the fantastic sights while you are here without relying on taxis or public transport.

Cars can easily be rented from both Shannon and Dublin airports.

Dublin airport to the Retreat: 3 – 3.5 hours

Shannon airport to the Retreat: 1 hour

We are 7kms from Lahinch driving straight out on the road to the Cliffs of Moher. As you enter Lahinch follow the signs for the Cliffs of Moher and Liscannor (it’s a right turn before you come into the main street of the village).

Drive along that road, with the golf course on your left. After 4 kms you will reach Liscannor Village. Continue driving through Liscannor Village. After another 3kms turn left, just before The Rock Shop (which is on the right side of the road). After 200 metres you will reach a crossroads, turn right. Continue up the road for approximately 750metres, we are the third property on the left, you will drive up a long driveway and we will be waiting for you there!
