This retreat is all about slowing down, taking rest, come to practice yoga, meditate and ultimately stepping away from the business of daily life and responsibilities. Carving out a little time to create space to reconnect with yourself, your body, with nature and ultimately just be. Through our meditation practice and silent walks we will focus on being present in the moment, reconnecting with the beautiful surroundings of the land and sea.

Cliffs of Moher

Over this retreat we will connect with ourselves, our bodies, finding balance and cultivating inner peace. We will create a sense of calm, quiet, nourishing our bodies, spirit and soul. There is a part of us that is always at peace and we will use this time to come to that place of peace. This retreat will help to reconnect to our inner quiet and blissful stillness.

 

Epic Yoga StudioWe will begin every morning with a meditation practice, followed by a lovely, healthy and super nutritious and delicious breakfast. We will then take a silent walk in the beautiful surroundings and come back for our morning yoga practice.

 

Hot tubThe morning practice will be warming flow in a vinyasa style of yoga, open to all levels and abilities. The evening yoga practice aims to stretch, strengthen and lengthen muscles and open tired joints, over all creating a feeling of strength, openness and lightness within the body. Allowing the body and mind to let go and sink into deep relaxation.

Sunday

Check in anytime after 17:00

Relax, take a walk or enjoy a treatment and partake in a welcome drink and sweet treat with your fellow retreat participants

18:00     Our first yoga and meditation class

19:30      Dinner – delicious and healthy fare! Followed by arrival introduction chat to the weekend, the schedule and the area

 

Monday – Thursday

07:00    Kitchen will be open for tea, coffee and fruit

07:30     2 hour yoga and meditation class

09:30    Delicious healthy breakfast buffet

Free Time – Spend your time taking a walk, swimming in the sea, reading a book or enjoy some of the amazing tourism the area has to offer.

Throughout your stay we will offer 2 guided walks to take in some of the breathtaking sites at our doorstep. Times and days will be confirmed on arrival, weather permitting. Additionally, our beautiful glass fronted sauna and Canadian cedar hot tub will be available at all times during your stay.

13:30     Lunch – lots of yummy healthy food!

Free time – Options to take a trip to Lahinch to the beach, go surfing, take a tour of the area including the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren or stay and relax and enjoy a treatment.

17:30     2 hour yoga class

19:30    *Dinner – more lovely homemade healthy food followed by a delicious healthy dessert

*Wednesday night is chef’s night off and you will be free to go out and have dinner in a local restaurant. We have a lot of great places to eat offering local and seasonal food including fresh seafood. Taxis can be arranged.

 

Friday

07:00    Kitchen will be open for tea, coffee and fruit

08:00    Our last 2 hour yoga class

10:00     Brunch – leaving with a belly full of our amazing food!

Shannon Airport:

Shannon is our closest airport. You can catch a taxi from the airport directly to the Retreat.  To ensure your transfer will be there to meet you, instead of waiting for a taxi at the airport, we recommend contacting Philip O’Dwyer and Tom Dowling who offers competitive rates from Shannon to the Retreat compared to picking up a taxi at the airport. Philip can accommodate individuals and groups. To pre-arrange transfers please contact directly at (phone is the preferred method):

Depending on the time of day and number of passengers, a taxi from Shannon costs €80 to €120 each way.

*Due to GDPR regulations we cannot provide guests’ contact details to other guests to organise sharing taxis. We advise using our Facebook page to reach out to each other or to ask Philip on booking the taxi if he has had any other guests contact him.

 

Public Transport:

Bus

Dublin Coach has a great service from Dublin (airport or city centre) to Ennis. Please visit their website for up to date time tables and costs: www.dublincoach.ie

Dublin Coach arrives into the Friars Walk bus park in Ennis. If you’re connecting to the Bus Eireann service it is about a 10 minute walk to the bus depot located at Ennis Train Station.

Bus Eireann run a service (Route 350) from the Ennis train station to Lahinch and Liscannor (close to us). Please visit their website for up to date time tables and costs: www.buseireann.ie

Car Rental:

Renting a car is the easiest way to get around Ireland – we are a small island! It will mean you can make the most of this amazing area and take in all the fantastic sights while you are here without relying on taxis or public transport.

Cars can easily be rented from both Shannon and Dublin airports.

Dublin airport to the Retreat: 3 – 3.5 hours

Shannon airport to the Retreat: 1 hour

We are 7kms from Lahinch driving straight out on the road to the Cliffs of Moher. As you enter Lahinch follow the signs for the Cliffs of Moher and Liscannor (it’s a right turn before you come into the main street of the village).

Drive along that road, with the golf course on your left. After 4 kms you will reach Liscannor Village. Continue driving through Liscannor Village. After another 3kms turn left, just before The Rock Shop (which is on the right side of the road). After 200 metres you will reach a crossroads, turn right. Continue up the road for approximately 750metres, we are the third property on the left, you will drive up a long driveway and we will be waiting for you there!
