A perfect time to pause! September can be busy, almost like January. The start of many things but also the end of many. School is back, summer is over, winter is coming, the list is endless.
Autumn is the time of harvest, restoring and preparing for winter, surrendering to the cooler weather and darker evenings and of course observing the beautiful skies. The process of shifting more inward begins, we become more reflective, we move to keep warm, crave more sleep and warm food.
As the seasons change, we may find ourselves a little out of balance as we adjust to the new rhythms that nature and life takes us on.
This weekend we will focus on finding balance and letting go. We will warm the body up and strengthen with vinyasa yoga, ground ourselves with meditation, standing poses and breath work, let go with yin yoga and melt into the comforts the stunning yoga room offers us with restorative yoga and relaxation.
For July, August and September retreats all bookings will be taken manually over the phone. Please email us on info@cliffsofmoherretreat.com with the dates you are ready to book and your phone number and we will call you back to complete the booking.

18:00 You’ve arrived! Start with a 90min Yin Yoga Class to counter act the journey, promote balance, overall harmony and a great nights sleep!
20:00 Dinner – delicious, healthy fare! Followed by arrival introduction chat to the weekend, the schedule and the area
Saturday
07:30 Early morning meditation
Join me for a pranayama practice to warm the body followed by a meditation, set an intention for the weekend and enjoy the present moment and all the beauty it has to offer.
08:00 Delicious healthy breakfast buffet
08:30 Early morning silent walk
10:00 2 hour Vinyasa yoga class
This class will include a little bit of everything. Pranayama, we’ll warm the joints up properly, Vinyasa yoga for all levels to bring a sense of freedom and flow on the mat, enjoy standing poses to ground, balancing poses for mind body harmony, all followed by a well deserved deep relaxation.
12:30 Lunch – lots of yummy healthy food!
Free time – Options to take a trip to Lahinch to the beach, go surfing, take a tour of the area including the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren or stay and relax and enjoy a treatment
17:30 2 hour Luxurious Yin yoga class
Yin yoga can be a wonderful way to cope with the varied emotions the changing of seasons can bring. This class will encourage slowing down, letting go, acceptance, tuning into your needs, finding balance. After all this work, we’ll take a long deep relaxation to prepare the body for a delicious dinner and sound sleep.
19:30 Dinner – more lovely homemade healthy food followed by a delicious healthy dessert
Our beautiful glass fronted sauna and Canadian cedar hot tub will be available at all times during your stay

Loosen up the body and calm the mind for the journey ahead. This creative mix of yoga poses will move the spine in all its ranges of motion for vitality, will include balancing poses for clarity, a delicious wind down for calm and a final relaxation for peace and quiet, once again soaking up all the beauty autumn surrounds us with. You will leave feeling, refreshed and ready for what lies ahead.
