Michelle, I know you made the right choice. As my own three children are almost young adults now I can see it all from the other end……No child would think “If only my mother had been a better person by prioritising her mat yoga” and no mum would think so either, even though you naturally wish you had more time for that! Their childhoods truly pass by in a flash, in the blink of an eye; and anyway you are just as much practising your yoga by fitting in some asana among the creative chaos of caring for them and helping them into their lives. Remember the Yamas and Niyamas….
And think of what you’ve achieved with the Cliffs of Moher Retreat and Yogatraveller! You are allowed a parental leave and a sabbatical!
Bless you, and them, and your mat practice can wait a little while. Love those cups of tea from toasty Michael, and the cuddles with fragrant, often sticky, cosy little offspring! Love & light and namaste
