The Communal Spaces

The Communal Spaces

Our retreat is set in the refurbished Moher Lodge Farmhouses. There are 3 buildings comprising of 5 houses. The bedrooms are divided among the 5 houses and each house has a shared communal area that is open to all guests. There is plenty of space for everyone to find a place for themselves, allowing you to be social if you feel like it, but also to have room to relax and take time to yourself.

The Dining Hall test

The Dining Hall

Kitchen and Dining Hall

House 1 holds the open plan kitchen and dining hall. With high ceilings, sea-views, wood-burning stove and under-floor heating, this large room is elegant, formal and a real treat to sit in and enjoy the delicious food. All the meals are served here and there are tea and coffee making facilities.

It’s a great room to enjoy a hot drink and have a chat with fellow retreat participants. The room is decorated with beautiful artwork and a state-of-the-art kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared and chat to the chef.

Next to this room in House 2 there is a beautiful sun room. With stunning views directly out to the Atlantic Ocean, there are large glass doors to lead you out into the gardens. The room is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and artwork and is a great room to relax in the sun and take in the magnificent views. There is under-floor heating throughout both these rooms which makes them cosy and comfortable in winter.

The Media Room

The Media Room

We have named this the Media Room as it’s the only area of the retreat where you can access wifi. There is a desk and chairs for you to use in the smaller room but you can also use the main room which is also our second yoga space and relax in there to connect to the world! This was our first yoga studio and is a lovely room with beautiful wooden floors and under-floor heating.
